Interstate 16 is a major East–West transcontinental Interstate Highway in the portions of the United States. It passes through Alabama and Georgia. It’s West end is at Interstate 20 and Interstate 59 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and it’s East end is at a concurrency with Martín Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Savannah, Georgia. Major cities served by the interstate include Tuscaloosa, Macon, Swainsboro, Statesboro and Savannah.
