Interstate 178 is a major North-South transcontinental highway in the US. It’s South terminus is at the New Jersey Turnpike which is Interstate 24 and Interstate 78 in Clinton, New Jersey and it’s North end is at Interstate 88 in Oneonta, New York. On it’s route I-178 traverses through the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York for a total of 3 states. I-178 is known as the Transamerica Highway or America’s Expressway because of the roads immense history following many iconic old highways and trails.
