Interstate 281 is a major North-South transcontinental highway in the US. It’s South terminus is at the Pennsylvania Turnpike which is Interstate 24 and Interstate 78 in Myerstown, Pennsylvania and it’s North end is at Interstate 40 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. On it’s route I-281 is known as the Transamerica Highway or America’s Expressway because of the roads immense history following many iconic old highways and trails.
